Acrylic is also known by brand names Perspex and Plexiglass. It's typically used in boat windows, hatches and washboards.
Avoid cleaning products designed for car windscreens or glass. Some of these cause deep crazing.
Regular maintenance
Wash with clean fresh water and use BoatSheen Acrylic window cleaner.
Protection
Some protection is provided by BoatSheen Acrylic window cleaner as it reduces dirt adhesion and helps to reduce scratching.
Restoration
Polish out scratches and protect the surface with BoatSheen Vinyl Window Restorer. Crazing can't usually be polished out, so crazed acrylic usually has to be replaced.
